Pari Ravan is a painter and sculptor known for her romantic surrealist style.

Born in Abadan, Iran, in 1942, she won her first art competition at 14 and later studied at the School of Fine Arts in Tehran before moving to Germany at 17 to continue her artistic education.

At 17, she moved to Germany, where she attended the School of Art and Craft in Mainz while simultaneously pursuing medical studies. She later exhibited her work in Cologne and Berlin.

Influences & Artistic Development

Between 1975 and 1979, Pari Ravan trained under Baruch Elron, the renowned Israeli surrealist painter, whose works are displayed in museums worldwide.

Beyond her artistic career, she has also been a doctor, psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, and airline pilot. In 1994, she left her accomplished professional life to dedicate herself entirely to her passion for painting.
