Date: Competition dates: 27 September to 5 October 2025 (9 days of competition)
Venue: Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, India.
French para-athlete Alexandra Nouchet
French para-athlete Alexandra Nouchet, 27, delivered a stunning performance at the 2025 World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi, India, earning the silver medal in the F64 shot put event.
Nouchet, who was born with agenesis of the right leg, has long been a standout in para-athletics.
Her journey began in para-swimming before transitioning to track and field, where she now competes in multiple disciplines including the 100m, long jump, and shot put.
A Historic Achievement
Competing as the only F63-classified athlete in the F64 category, Alexandra faced competitors with less severe impairments.
Despite the classification gap, she threw a season-best 10.10 meters, securing her first-ever podium finish at a World Championship event.
This silver medal follows her participation in the 2024 Paris Paralympics, where she placed 10th—making this victory a powerful comeback and a testament to her resilience.
A Voice of Determination
Alexandra trains with unwavering dedication, inspired by fellow French para-athlete Dimitri Pavadé.
Her goal remains clear: to one day stand on the Paralympic podium.
“She’s not just an athlete—she’s a symbol of perseverance, grace, and the power of representation in sport.”
Nouchet’s success in New Delhi marks a proud moment for French para-athletics and inspires a new generation of athletes to push beyond limits.
