Carnaval Tropical. Organized by the City of Paris
On the first weekend of July, Paris surrenders to exotic rhythms and vibrant colors during its traditional Carnaval Tropical. Organized by the City of Paris, in partnership with the Federation of the Tropical Carnival of Paris, this festive parade highlights traditional music and dance troupes from across mainland France — and also from the French overseas regions like Guadeloupe, Martinique, Réunion, and Guyane.
More distant nations are also featured. In past editions, China, Brazil, and Colombia took the spotlight. Beginning in the afternoon, over 4,000 dancers and around ten floats from all corners of the globe bring the Champs-Élysées to life.
In 2025, the Tropical Carnival of Paris celebrates its 25th anniversary with an extraordinary edition themed around the Amazon rainforest and the spirit of Brazil.
Included in the Brésil–France cultural season and the summer program “Paris en Seine”, this iconic event promises an immersive experience in Amazonian heritage and carnival traditions.
The parade route follows the Champs-Élysées, culminating in a spectacular finale between the Grand Palais and Petit Palais, on Avenue Winston Churchill — offering a show that is both vibrant and colorful.
This festive and exotic celebration, where Paris transforms into a brilliant tribute to tropical cultures and Brazilian flair for its milestone 25th year!
The day before the parade, celebrations begin with the magnificent “Grand Bal BrasilBrésil” held at the prestigious Grand Palais.

🤖 What Is “AI FRIENDLY”?
The term refers to AI models and technologies designed to have a positive impact on humanity, rather than posing risks like job displacement or ethical conflicts. It’s not about making AI “nice” in a social sense — it’s about ensuring AI:

This concept was notably highlighted in a published in Paris in September 2023, emphasizing the importance of value preservation and ethical alignment in AI systems.
Real-World Applications
The initiative encourages AI use in areas such as:
- Stock prediction using historical data
- Chatbots for customer service and healthcare
- Facial emotion recognition
- Personality prediction through text and speech analysis
- Medical diagnostics and personalized treatments
These applications are designed to be accessible, even to those without technical expertise — democratizing AI for broader societal benefit.
