Tangia Zaman Methila walked for International Designers at the Paris Fashion Show SS2023

Date : September 24th 2022

Venue : Pavillon Cambon Capucine – 46, rue Cambon 75001 Paris

Tangia Zaman Methila

The model, actor, host and winner of Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020, Tangia Zaman Methila  walked for international designers at the Paris Fashion Show SS23.

As a showstopper for Pietu Couture, Methila was seen wearing a stunning red gown with multiple layers and handmade feather headpiece.
The corset style body of the dress beautifully blended into ruffled layers, giving it a princess style look.

For Lanyu she wore a beautiful full body studded black dress with a thigh high slit. The dress featured a gorgeous black net cape that was creating an illusion of wings around her.
The same fabric of the cape was used as a hair accessory as well.

Being one of the very few models from Bangladesh who participated in the Paris Fashion week, Tangia Zaman Methila was thrilled to be a part of the event.
Soon fans will see her walk the New York Fashion week in March, 2023.

An exceptional service to match the organizers

The sumptuous parade was accompanied by an exceptional catering service while the guests could enjoy the flavors of mignardises and champagne at discretion.

The Prestige Venue

The Pavillon Cambon Capucines, a vast and chic space with incomparable volumes, is located in the heart of Paris between Place Vendôme and the Opera Garnier. This former bank headquarters with a magnificent glass roof and massive marble columns overhung by a mezzanine will bring comfort and prestige for the event.

Mythical place where Chanel, Dior, Karl Lagerfel used to present their capsule collection.

Discover Pietu Couture

Pietu Couture is part of the creative team of the barracks committed to touching emotions and rediscovering the wonders of the world’s beauty. Pietu Couture’s clothes are exclusively « Made in France », with mostly French or Italian raw materials.

The observation: Pietu Couture is a brand committed to a more responsible fashion for the Planet. When we create a fashion brand XX1st century, some issues have become non-negligible. The climatic and social emergency pushes us to rethink our consumption patterns, in order to avoid reproducing the pitfalls of the most polluting industry in the world.

« Sustainable and accessible high-end products ».

.Upcycling: Thus, we choose every day to produce better. To do this, we use upcycling, a process that allows us to recover and give value to unused products and thus avoid waste. This creative process is challenging, but it allows us to create original, bold and sustainable pieces.

« Using the existing to create the new ».

Artisanal know-how: Today, the fashion industry has become one of the main sources of pollution in the world. The impact of fast fashion and compulsive shopping make us forget the whole manufacturing process behind the creation of a garment. This process is a concentrate of know-how, technique, imagination and hard work.

Pietu Couture

At Pietu Couture, we want to make our customers aware of the impact and work of this value chain. For this reason, we favor artisanal know-how to realize our creations. We develop all our pieces in Paris or in the Paris region. This development includes the research of volume upstream (fabrics, materials), the realization of the sketch, and the creation of the pattern and the fitting of the prototypes. This long and tedious process is often unknown to consumers. Thus, we make sure to highlight the choices, inspirations, and techniques used, in order to raise awareness about the history, the territory and any other element that contributes to the realization of the garment. Our objective is to allow our customers to feel that they own a unique piece, which they will want to preserve and pass on.
