Anok Yai, born December 20, 1997 in Cairo, is an American model of Sudanese origin.
Anok Yai is the second black model to have opened a fashion show for Prada, after Naomi Campbell, and the first Sudanese model1.
Anok Yai was discovered in October 2017 at the Howard University by a professional photographer who asked to take a picture of Anok Yai.
He posted the photo on Instagram, sparking more than 20,000 « likes ».

Four month later, Anok Yai became the first Sudanese model to open a fashion show for Prada.
