Africa Fashion Up highlights the young African talents of today who are shaping the Africa of the 21st century
Century by drawing inspiration from their roots. Its objective is also to show and bring African fashion to life.
Contemporary by highlighting its influence in other fields of creation and culture (cinema, music, entrepreneurship …) without ever forgetting its roots in history and tradition.

Godfather of Africa Fashion Up – The Designer IMANE AYISSI -The Jury Members
Imane Ayissi, the first designer from sub-Saharan Africa to be registered in 2020 in the prestigious official calendar of haute couture in Paris and whose collections reflect the immense diversity of know-how of the African continent, has agreed to be the sponsor of the class of 2021 Africa Fashion Up.
Imane Ayissi invited the laureates to discover his workshop and exchange with him during their stay in Paris and he participated in the day of the fashion show on September 17, including exhibiting his latest models.
BALENCIAGA PARTNERSHIP
During their stay in Paris, the 5 young African designers, selected by a jury, will be invited toparticipate in a morning of masterclasses dictated by Balenciaga, the objective of which is toprovide the tools and knowledge necessary to develop and sustain a brand fashion.
In addition to these Masterclasses, the laureates will benefit from a tour which will help them Parisian and international fashion will be immersed in the world.In addition, the winners will benefit from access to training delivered by the prestigious schoolof HEC management.
AFRICA FASHION UP
Africa Fashion UP invites young African talents, selected by a specialized international committee, to present their creations during a fashion show dedicated to them in Paris.
Created at the initiative of Valerie Ka, international top model, Africa Fashion Up is conceived as both a program and a fashion show whose goal is to accompany the contemporary African fashion in full effervescence.
