** HOW YOUR DONATIONS WILL BE USED: **

* We will apply the donations as priority to her education, food & shelter. A portion of everything received will be put into a locked account which we will save for an advanced education in the future. Also, if possible, Maleesha has stated that she would like to be able to go to a better school now. She takes her education very seriously and on her last report card got all As!

With the first tier of donations, we will put money aside for her basic necessities such as food, sanitation, clothing & education. We aim to first save enough to get them through the Covid lockdowns & the initial process of setting up a local monitoring team.

Human Values Implementation: Research in friendly AI focuses on designing AGI that reliably implements human values.
Eliezer Yudkowsky, who popularized the term, emphasizes that friendliness (a desire not to harm humans) should be an integral part of AGI from the outset.

Evolution and Flaws: Designers must recognize that initial AI designs may have flaws.
As AI systems learn and evolve over time, mechanisms for checks and balances are essential to ensure their utility functions remain friendly even as they become more intelligent.

In summary, FAI represents an approach to AGI development that prioritizes humanity’s best interests and safety while recognizing the need for ongoing refinement and evolution.
