LA MÉTAMORPHOSE COUTURE AUTUMN WINTER 2020 / 2021 – COLLECTION

BELLES DE LUNE

The new collection of La Métamorphose explores the hidden and mysterious nature of women and is inspired by the « Balsamic moon »; this suspended moment in the moon cy-cle which corresponds to the « Dreamtime ». It is synonymous with the Origin of the World in the culture of the Australian aborigines.

The « Balsamic Moon » is the moon of the prophets and prophetesses, and has the power to stimulate the imagination.
This moon reveals a particular vision of the cycle to come.
This visionary phase requires the opening of the mind channels and its limits, to allow a new creation to emerge.
This phase is asking us to surrender to the power of the universe whose dream springs from the dark, through sketches, and canvasses, defining the out-lines of new possibilities.

The designers Ewa & Margaret, very attached to French culture, have chosen the Royal Castle of Amboise as the theater for their new collection.

COLLECTION : BELLES DE LUNE

15 looks playing between the transparency & lightness of tulles, embroidered with pearls, the fluidity of silk and chiffon and lace and the shimmering caress of the velvet of a high waist tuxedo suit, sprinkled with a few spikes of sequins.

The embroidered masks un-derline the smiles of the tinted lips, reminder, if it were necessary, of our particular nowadays reality.

It should be noted that all of the fabrics are « Made in France », & part of the collection has been produced in French ateliers.
