Theme « Voyages » for this 8 edition
For this 8th edition, the Société des Beaux-Arts has chosen the theme « Voyages« : the works of 95 artists, including 63 painters, 15 sculptors and 17 photographers, will be on display at the Espace Landowski.
ABSTRACT PAINTING
Abstract painting is for her an essential means of sharing and communication.
A vital need for reconstruction, for light, for reconciliation with life.
Fady particularly admires the works of Chu The Chun, Zaō Wou-Ki or Jackson Pollock.
THE COLORS – FADY FERHI IS AN ACCOMPLISHED COLORIST
The colors resonate within her and infuse her with cheerfulness, energy, balance, harmony, serenity and sometimes sadness.
According to her, a perfectly finished work is a work with a soul, a spiritualdepth, a world where dreams and intuitions come together to invite the viewer to give free rein to his feelings.
IN METAMORPHOSIS, FADY FERHI REPRESENTS A JOURNEY TOWARDS ETERNITY
Fady Ferhi is an accomplished colorist. Created in depth and movement, hes work is a journey towardsEternity.
Beyond time, between stasis and disappearance, the narrative logic of each of his paintings remains in suspense like an enigmatic crossing that everyone is free to explore.
Her moving and vivid work creates an embodied atmospheric dimension that transports to unexplored territories. It is an invitation to discover the possible, to revisit a new dimension, between the known and the dreamed, where reality is multiple, in metamorphosis, suspended in a potential balance.

The Salon d’Automne
This year’s guest of honor at the »Salon d’Automne et de la Ville » is Philippe Scrive, an internationally renowned sculptor whose work evokes distant horizons and timelessness.
The artist met Brancusi, Richard Neutra, Le Corbusier and Frank Lloyd Wright, whose influence can be felt in the sobriety of his forms and in his rough or polished assemblages.
Philippe SCRIVE, guided by the material, like Ossip Zadkine, seeks to reveal the work « hidden » in the veins of wood or marble, so that we can appreciate its natural beauty.
He has won numerous sculpture prizes, including that of the Académie des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2008.
The »Société des Beaux-Arts de Boulogne-Billancourt » Award – Prix Marcel Loyau
As every year, the Société des Beaux-Arts de Boulogne-Billancourt will award the Prix Marcel Loyau to the best artist at the Salon, as well as prizes for painting, sculpture and photography; the magazine L’Univers des Arts will present a prize in his name.
Founded in 1934 by Marcel Loyau (1895-1936), official painter and sculptor of the French Air Force, the Société des Beaux-Arts de Boulogne-Billancourt has counted sculptors Paul Landowski and Paul Moreau-Vauthier among its honorary members.
Its Salon d’Automne relies on the skills of a jury in charge of selecting the artists and works to be exhibited, and welcomes members regardless of school or artistic tendency.
