A Top 26 for 26 regions: Who will be crowned 👑 Miss Côte d’Ivoire 2024? After three months of competition, it’s time for the grand finale. They are at the starting blocks. On Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the Abidjan Exhibition Center, 26 candidates representing 26 regions will participate in the finale of the largest beauty contest in Côte d’Ivoire.

PRESENTATION OF COMICI

Established in 1995, COMICI is organized throughout the national territory by co-opting regional presidents whose mission is to set up regional committees under the tutelage of COMICI for a term of one  year, renewable at the AG.
An annual General Assembly is held after each edition. Thus, the elections for MISS CI began in 1996, with preselections across the country.
The first edition of COMICI saw the crowning of Miss MIMI Hermine at the Congress Palace of the Hotel Ivoire.

 

VICTOR YAPOBI-COMICI PRESIDENT

 

Victor Yapobi is the president of the Miss Côte d’Ivoire Organizing Committee (COMICI), an association that was established in 1996.
The committee is composed of an executive committee of 6 members and regional committees throughout Côte d’Ivoire.

Under his leadership, the committee has been organizing the Miss Côte d’Ivoire beauty pageant for nearly three decades. His efforts in organizing the contest and promoting Ivorian beauty have been recognized and rewarded.

In addition to his role at COMICI, Victor Yapobi is also a businessman. He has faced challenges and his impartiality has been tested over the years. Despite these challenges, he continues to lead the organization and contribute to the cultural landscape of Côte d’Ivoire.

In 2014, the national board was made up of 5 statutory founding members, who co-opt 12 regional committees each year, as well as a committee in France under the aegis of COMICI-EUROPE, a direct offshoot of COMICI since 2002.
