COOMISGUI is an organization dedicated to promoting young women in Guinea through cultural and social initiatives, including the prestigious Miss Guinea pageant. Aminata Diallo is also the CEO of KPAAF Guinée, a fashion and art academy that emphasizes empowering women and showcasing Guinea‘s cultural identity on international platforms.

Under her leadership, COOMISGUI has revitalized the Miss Guinea competition with themes addressing significant social issues, such as empowering women and combating irregular migration.

Aminata Diallo‘s efforts are highly regarded for bringing fresh vision and structure to the Miss Guinea pageant, particularly after a three-year hiatus.

She collaborates closely with national and international stakeholders, including government ministries and private sponsors, to ensure the success of the event and the broader mission of uplifting Guinean women

 

Mme Hann Dienaba Keita, consultant and moderator

 

Mme. Hann Dienaba Keita is an accomplished professional with over 17 years of experience in investment and commercial banking.
She has also spent 9 years managing sustainable development projects and mobilizing additional resources to support Guinea’s growth.

She serves as the Executive Director of the Jamila Foundation, where she oversees initiatives aimed at promoting social impact and resource mobilization for development programs.

In addition to her current roles, Mme Keita has worked as the National Coordinator for programs under the International Trade Centre (ITC) and as a member of the United Nations System’s country team in Guinea.

She also held the position of Deputy Director-General at the Agency for the Promotion of Private Investments for six years.
Her expertise spans designing innovative project portfolios, creating mentorship and leadership programs, and achieving results-driven outcomes in development initiatives.

Mme Keita‘s contributions have been recognized both nationally and internationally, making her a prominent figure in Guinea’s development and capacity-building sectors.

 

Mme Hadja Aicha Bah, former Minister of National Education

 

A respected figure in Guinea’s education sector, Hadja Bah stressed the importance of education for personal and professional development.
She called on the contestants to champion learning and empowerment, serving as ambassadors for progress and education.

Each of these leaders contributed to reinforcing the theme of this year’s event, Investing in Women: Economic Actors of Transformation.”
Their insights not only motivated the finalists but also reflected Guinea’s commitment to fostering the role of women in shaping the nation’s future.

Dr. Diaka Sidibé, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and SMEs

 

An economist and government leader, Dr. Sidibé, emphasized the entrepreneurial potential of women and their critical role in Guinea’s economy.
Her words inspired the finalists to consider themselves as agents of economic transformation and innovation.

Dr. Diaka Sidibé currently serves as Guinea’s Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), a position she assumed in March 2024.

She has an academic background in geosciences, earning her doctorate from Abdelmalek Essaâdi University in Morocco in 2015.

Professionally, she has held notable positions, including being the head of the Department of Technical Education and Professional Training at Guinea’s National Authority for Quality Assurance in Education.
She also served as the director of the Higher Institute of Mines and Geology of Boké.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Sidibé was the Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, a role she fulfilled under two consecutive governments starting in October 2021.

As Minister of Commerce, she is focused on creating a favorable business environment, supporting SMEs, and implementing policies for price stabilization and industrial development.

Her approach emphasizes collaboration with private sectors, civil society, and international partners to achieve economic growth and innovation in Guinea

Mme. Charlotte Daffé, Minister for the Promotion of Women, Childhood, and Vulnerable People

 

A dedicated advocate for women’s rights and a public sector expert, Minister Daffé underscored the need for empathy and leadership among the finalists.
She urged them to rise to the occasion and become role models for future generations.

 

Fatimata Camara, Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy

 

Fatimata Camara serves as Guinea’s Minister of Fisheries and Maritime Economy. Under her leadership, the ministry is focused on advancing sustainable development in the fisheries sector, strengthening governance, and ensuring transparency. Her work emphasizes the role of fishing in economic development and food security in Guinea.

One of her key initiatives includes collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to implement Guinea’s Fisheries Strategic Plan.

This project aims to enhance stakeholder capacities, reduce illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, and improve the quality and availability of fish products in the country​​.

Fatimata Camara has also expressed Guinea’s commitment to international standards of fisheries governance, such as the Fisheries Transparency Initiative (FiTI).

This initiative seeks to promote transparency and inclusivity in managing marine resources, aligning with global sustainable development goals​

Aminata Kaba, Minister of Technical Education, Vocational Training, and Employment

 

Aminata Kaba, Guinea’s Minister of Technical Education, Vocational Training, and Employment, has had a remarkable career spanning the public and private sectors, as well as international organizations.

She was appointed to her current position in March 2024, following her tenure in other key roles such as Minister of Posts, Telecommunications, and Digital Economy (2021–2022) and Minister of Information and Communication (2022–2024).

Before entering government, Kaba worked for prestigious organizations such as the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) as a program officer and UNICEF as an ICT officer in the Central African Republic.

Her corporate experience includes roles at Ericsson in the UK as a design engineer and MTN-Areeba Guinea as head of network quality.

In Guinea, she contributed to the telecommunications sector as Deputy Director General of the Regulatory Authority for Posts and Telecommunications (ARPT) and later as Deputy Director General of the National Backbone Management Company (SOGEB).

She holds advanced degrees in telecommunications and computer networks from institutions like the University of Westminster (UK) and the University of Paris XII.

She also recently completed an Executive MBA from HEC Paris in 2023.

In her current role, Aminata Kaba is focused on aligning Guinea’s technical education and vocational training programs with the country’s economic goals.

This includes revising curricula to better meet market demands, fostering partnerships with businesses, and addressing the challenges of integrating youth into the labor market.

Her leadership has been pivotal in modernizing Guinea’s educational infrastructure and ensuring its competitiveness on the global stage​
