Fady Ferhi, painter, was born in 1962. After spending a good part of her life in Brive la Gaillarde, Corrèze, she moved to the Paris region in 2004.
In 2007, a sudden and irreversible emotional upheaval pushed her towards artistic creation. From then on, painting became her means of escape, of liberation and of expressing her emotions on canvas.
The path of knowledge
Fady learns the fundamentals of painting at the « Croqueurs de Vie » workshop in Charenton-le-Pont, run by Isabelle Forestier, a painter trained at the Beaux-Arts in Paris. During her four-year apprenticeship, she mastered the art of defining shapes, linking lines in space, and playing with textures and impasto to create depth. She also integrated an essential notion that would guide her career: the importance of each color and its variety of tones for the perception of the work.
